ITINERARY – 10 Days
Mar 21 Depart Los Angeles
Depart today on BR 151 at 12:10 AM.Mar 22 Taipei / Beijing
Arrive in Taipei at 5:50 AM. Proceed for a city tour of Taipei. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight BR 716 departing at 4:20 PM for Beijing. On your arrival in Beijing at 7:35 PM, the SITA guide will meet the group at the airport and transfer to SHANGRI-LA HOTEL BEIJING.
Mar 23 Beijing ( B/L/D)
Today visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the 250-acre palace containing more than 9,000 rooms. Later visit one of Beijing’s hutongs, or ancient city alleys. The hutongs were built as part of a city building plan that followed the etiquette systems of the Zhou dynasty. In the evening, enjoy a Peking Opera performance.
Mar 24 Beijing ( B/L/D)
Visit the Great wall, stopping en route at the Bird’s Nest & Water Cube for a picture. The Great Wall, built 2,300 years ago and extending 3,750 miles, can be seen from space! Later, explore the Summer Palace. Overnight at the SHANGRI-LA TRADERS UPPER EAST HOTEL.
Mar 25 Beijing (B/L/D)
Today, take a full day tour to the Temple of Heaven & Olympic Park. Enjoy a Peking duck dinner this evening.
Mar 26 Beijing / Xian ( B/L/D)
Morning is at leisure. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Xian this afternoon. Meet & transfer to the SHANGRI-LA HOTEL XIAN.
Mar 27 Xian (B/L/D)
This morning, visit the archaeological site to see thousands of Terra Cotta Warriors, which have been standing guard over the Imperial Tomb for 2,000 years. Also visit the Shan’xi Provincial Historical Museum. This evening, enjoy a Tang dynasty dinner show.
Mar 28 Xian / Shanghai ( B/L/D)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. This afternoon, visit the Children's Palace and Jade Buddha Temple. Watch an Acrobatic Show this evening. Overnight at the SHANGRI-LA HOTEL SHANGHAI.
Mar 29 Shanghai ( B/L/D)
This morning, drive along the famous Bund - the wide, treelined avenue along the Huangpo River. Visit the Yuyuan Garden & Shanghai Museum

On your arrival in Hangzhou you will proceed to Guo's Villa and Lingyin Buddhist Monastery.Learn about Chinese tea and savor green tea at Meijiawu Tea Plantation. After sightseeing, check in at the SHANGRI-LA HOTEL HANGZHOU.
After dinner proceed for Impression West Lake, a fantastic Landscape show on the lake, directed by Zhangyimo, the chief director of the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008.
Mar 31 Hangzhou / Taipei / Los Angeles ( B/L)
After breakfast, check out and depart from hotel. Visit Xixi Wetland Park, a natural reserve in a modern city. In the afternoon, visit the Grand Canal, Hangzhou section. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight BR 757 to Taipei departing at 7:30 PM. On your arrival in Taipei at 9:20 PM, connect to your onwards flight BR161 to Los Angeles departing at 11:55 PM. Arrive in Los Angeles at 8:25 PM.
